Dutch Mountains BV’s History starts in 1990. At first ski mats were the only product which was sold and/or rented out to several exhibitions in Europe. In 1993 Dutch Mountains took a very small indoor ski slope sized 2 x 5 meters to an Exhibition in Sweden. This slope was a small conveyor belt put up in an angle with a special mat on it to ski on. So in fact a never ending ski slope was placed. A very nice, but small slope, so only very very short turns were possible.
Skideck
In 1995 Dutch Mountains engineerd a bigger foldable (never ending) ski slope with a 5 x 7 meters skideck. This slope was rented out for a number of years and sold to a Swedish company. Later this slope was purchased from Sweden again and sold again to a Canadian company. In 2001 Dutch Mountains engineerd a new full hydraulic foldable skislope with a ski deck of 6 x 6 meters. This slope was sold to an Italian company in 2006, where it is still used.

Next to ski slopes, Free style summer training ramps, Dutch Mountains was also involved in the building of a mobile artifiscial ice climbing wall, specially for exhibitions and events. Instead of real ice a very special plastic which resembles the ice was used.
